You may not know the name Clinton Leupp. How about Miss Coco Peru?

Clinton created the drag icon, Miss Coco Peru and has become a celebrated storyteller and performer. Miss Coco has been entertaining us with comedic monologues and endearing stories for 25 years. In addition to the many original stage shows, she’s found in films including Trick, Girls Will Be Girls, and TV series such as Will & Grace and Arrested Development. Most recently, Miss Coco has found additional notoriety in her clever YouTube videos.

There's an intriguing story beyond Miss Coco — how Clinton followed his dream of working in entertainment and creating his own unique path. Clinton started Coco way before it was mainstream (AKA, no Rupal's Drag Race). In our chat we get into the challenges and highlights along the way, and even talk career advice, other fun anecdotes

After this interview, I went from fan, to admirer. Clinton was brave enough to find his truth and live it so publicly — inadvertently helping others find acceptance and a role model.

This episode was recorded under the previously used show name, Living Your Journey.

Rick Goldschmidt is the official historian and biographer of Rankin/Bass Productions, the company that brought us holiday television favorites like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town, Frosty the Snowman, and featured films such as The Last Unicorn, Mad Monster Party, and the animated version of The Hobbit. Rankin/Bass has also made many animated TV specials and series, including fan favorite, Thunder Cats. For almost 20 years, Rick has followed his passion for Rankin/Bass Productions, also realizing the rich history of their work and creatives were being lost in the shuffle of show ownership. Rick’s dedication allowed him to publish multiple books about Rankin/Bass, and has two websites dedicated to keep the Rankin/Bass Animagic alive. In this conversation with Christopher, Rick talks about how he made his work as a historian for Rankin/Bass into his career and passion, and thoughtfully shares his ‘why’ and some inside stories only Rick could know.

Let’s face it, creating art with fire is pretty awesome! Not only is her work mesmerizing, she’s also carving out a new space for herself in the art world. And the best part of this conversation is when Heather shares the story of her transformation―from professional dancer to a high tech sales professional to leaving that all behind to “Come out as an artist.” For anyone trying something new or going against the grain, this story is for you. And this is a great way to discover a new artist and hear about a journey that’s focused with intention and being true to oneself.

Christopher sits down with winemaker, Garry Brooks. He and his wife Joanne founded Brooks Note Winery in Marin County, California. Garry has a great wine story that is far from typical because it’s all about following the thing you love, not just wine. Garry talks about the different phases of his journey: He went from a technology job at the Gap to going back to school and getting started in wine to working in the wine industry, until finally starting his own winery. Garry also talks about his various transitions, why they needed to happen and how they happened with support and real intention. It’s so clear that Garry loves wine, just as clear as his love of winemaking and sharing it with everybody. Garry’s journey is a terrific example of the power of deliberate decisions and living life intentionally.
